This "Count Around the Room" activity will be a fun way for your students to practice counting tally marks. Just print the rainbow cards onto cardstock, laminate, cut apart, and hang up around your classroom. The students grab a clipboard and a recording sheet, and then hunt around the room for the rainbows. On their recording sheet, they will find the letter that corresponds with the rainbow they found, and record the number represented by the tally marks. I have also provided an answer sheet for you to easily check student work.
