Tally Mark Tower is a 2-player game in which students practice identifying tally marks up to and including the number 12. Students take turns rolling two dice and finding the sum. Then, the student searches the game board for the tally mark representation of the sum rolled and places a counter on it. Play continues until a student covers 4 in a row - vertically, horizontally, or diagonally - to win the game. Tally Mark Tower makes for a great class game or math center. This activity meets or exceeds the Common Core Standards of Mathematics.
