Instead of defining the terms "tame" and "wild" for students, allow them to constructively develop their own understandings. With these tame and wild worksheets, young learners first brainstorm one-word adjectives to describe a lion and then a cat. With those descriptions in mind, students then deduce which animal is wild and which one is tame. Basically, they have defined the terms in their own way. Now that they know the meaning of the terminology, student use that information to determine which animals are wild and which ones are tame.
