Tangents in Circles
In this lesson, students will learn the vocabulary and theorems associated with tangent lines and circles.
• Warm-Up -
The warm-up is an algebra review of multiplying algebraic terms.
• Algebra Review -
A two-page review of multiplying binomials and factoring is included. Many problems throughout this unit require this knowledge and students often need a refresher.
• Guided Notes -
Two versions are included: mostly complete and fill-in-the-blank. The notes are 2 pages long. Examples are included throughout.
• Homework -
The homework is 2 pages and 13 questions. There are two multiplying binomials problems and two factoring problems. Some of the questions require students to solve quadratic equations.
• Answer Keys -
Completely worked out answer keys are included.
