This fun intervention activity will help your beginning and struggling readers decode cvc words in a fun, hands-on way! I created this pack to provide my struggling readers with a highly visual and kinesthetic way to practice reading short vowel, cvc words.

The pack includes:

-2 Tap It On CVC mats (Two different versions are included - pick the version you like best!)

-75 CVC word cards

You will need 3 "stick on LED lights" or "battery click on lights" to use with this pack. (You could also use the activity without the lights and just have the students touch the big dots on the mat as they read the word.) I found my LED lights for a low price at my local discount and dollar stores, Walmart, Target, and at Amazon. They are also at home hardware stores!

Your students will have so much fun as they click their way through this engaging word work and reading intervention pack.

This pack is perfect for a small group setting, as one-on-one intervention, intervention and special education classrooms, and even as a center!

Please download the free preview file to see in-action pictures of this product in use. I hope you enjoy!

*The pack was designed for kindergarten and first graders but any reader who struggles with reading, decoding, and blending CVC words will benefit from this activity. It would also be helpful for

Happy Learning!
