This is a set of 3 worksheets that scaffold the use of tape diagrams when finding the part or total quantities in percent problems. The first worksheet lists 4 tape diagrams that are divided and labeled. Students identify the tape diagram that they need to use to solve the problem and insert the quantity for each 'box'. The second worksheet lists the same divided tape diagrams, but they are not labeled. Students label the appropriate tape diagram that they need to use to solve the problem. The third worksheet includes the 4 tape diagrams but they are not labeled or divided. These may be used as worksheets for each set of problems the student is working on or may be inserted in a page protector to use with dry erase markers for extended practice and review. These were effective when working with students receiving special education services in Resource Room or other Academic Intervention Service support.
