This grade 5, 6, and 7 ELA unit teaches how to identify the Central Idea, Main Idea, Locating Key Details, and Summarizing Text.
This is a unit that focuses solely on helping teach students identify and explain the central/main idea of a paragraph, excerpt, or text, explaining this idea with key details from the text, and summarizing what we read.
