It is our hope that your students become more excited about writing with these task cards. We have used these task cards in our classrooms and the students love them! It’s really amazing to see the excitement and the quality work they produce. It is important for your students to understand and focus on the standards that your state/school has adopted. These task cards focus on the Common Core State Standards but can be adapted to any state/school standards for writing. We also want you to know that these are our interpretations of the CCSS.
These task cards are most useful if they are copied off in color on a heavier paper, cut in half, and then laminated. We have found that these 50 task cards work best if they are used as a station, but they can easily be used as an individual assignment for students as well.
