These task cards can be used in math centers or as an intervention strategy for struggling students. Students will enjoy counting and writing in the number that is missing! The task cards can be used along with counters so that students can go from the concrete representation of number to the abstract of number sequence.
The numbers are listed on the card in threes and most number will be a missing number at the beginning, middle and end of the number series.
These task cards aligned with the common core standard K.CC.2: Count forward beginning from a given number within the known sequence (instead of having to begin at 1).
