What is Task reduction?
Task reduction is when the instructor reduces the demands put upon the individual in an effort to avoid or decrease frustration levels.

When should I use this Product?
This product is best used proactively- plan for it! This tool can also be used on a reactive level as task reduction can be effectively used when challenging behaviors are present.

Examples:
-Build Behavior momentum.
-Use for quick opportunities for reinforcement when a student is in an elevated state.
-Proactively reduce escape behavior by interspersing cards within new or challenging activities.
-Add structure for students who struggle with “down time”.
