Are you tired of constantly having to deal with students tattling? Wouldn't it be nice if you knew exactly what to say? What if all school staff used the SAME language when it came to dealing with tattling and reporting?
Rather than telling students "just ignore" the other person, the goal of this "script" is to give adults the exact words to help students who tattle/report behaviors of other students. It also encourages the STUDENT to take responsibility for their issues, rather than enabling them. If adults are constantly fixing problems for kids, how are they going to learn to do it themselves?
