This American Revolution Simulation ROCKS! Engaging! Student Favorite! INTERACTIVE! The lull in the fighting brought on by the winter of 1775-6 gave the colonists an opportunity to take stock of their future. They faced fundamental issues involving war and peace, and their relationship with the mother country. While a huge range of opinions existed, four principal options had emerged by February 1776.
Students will assume the role of one of these colonists, and work the other colonists meeting in a tavern to choose which of 4 options is best.
All character identities and background information is included. Teacher and student directions are combined and broken down with daily instructions.
EXTREMELY high level thinking. This is a challenge that you and your students will never forget!
