A printable set of the nine stars of Matariki. Features one star outline per page with a description about the significance/meaning of that star. Designed to be coloured in/crafted etc and then the meaning cut out and glued onto the back of the star. But the resource is flexible and open to interpretation - I'd love to see what people do with it!
At my Centre we created a different way to colour in the stars each day (eg waipuna-ā-rangi featured glitter and epsom salts with blue and white paint to reflect the snow/winter. Pōhutukawa features photos and drawings of our loved ones that have passed on). We then created a hanging display from our roof.
