This is a great way to teach art!

★★★You Will Receive:★★★
• 1 Zip file containing a 2-page non-editable PDF and terms of use document
• Page 1: Dice game
• Page 2: Step-by-step picture tutorial and directions

Simply print out the game and picture directions back-to-back, give them dice, and watch them have fun creating their own Jim Dine heart.

Game Directions:
You will create an Aboriginal dreamtime painting by rolling the die and collecting the different parts required to create it. After each roll, draw the correspinding symbol on scrap construction paper and cut it out. Consider using more than one color of construction paper for each symbol. Glue all five symbols on a large sheet of paper. Pour neutral colored paints into small containers. To paint, dip a cotton swab into your chosen paint color and make dots. Begin with the background by creating curved bands of color that sweep across the page. Then, paint the symbols. Create color patterns within some of the shapes to add emphasis to certain areas of each.
