Wild Monster Drawing Game:
Tame those wild things in your art room with fun activities that will keep them engaged! This fun activity will help you teach visual (implied) textures to your students. Fill up your sub folder with easy "one day, fun day" activities that require minimal set-up and ease of use. Use these to incorporate the Arts or teach art in your homeschool teaching environment!
Wild Monster Drawing Game is a two-page PDF document. One page is the dice game, the other page shows several step-by-step pictures and gives the directions for the game. Simply print out the two pages back-to-back, give them dice, and watch them have fun creating their own monster drawing.
You will create a wild monster using visual textures for each part of the creature. Begin by drawing the outline of a monster. Include a head, face, body, arms, legs, and other features you like such as a tail, wings, or horns. Then roll to decide which texture you’ll draw for each body part. Use the “Other” category for any additional features you included such as a tail or horns. Draw your textures using a dark colored crayon. Color in your body parts with lighter colored crayons. Be creative and try blending two or more colors together!
