Thank you for your interest in learning Korean! Learning and now teaching Korean has been such a wonderful experience for me, and I know it will be for you too!
A little about myself, I moved to South Korea right after college to teach English for a year. I lived in a small city and within a week knew that I had to learn Korean in order to thrive in my new environment. One year turned into six and throughout it all I never stopped studying. When I moved back to Texas in 2014, I knew that I wanted to spread this little studied language so I started an informal Korean class after school. The students loved it! The novelty of a new writing system and the connection to Anime and K-Pop brought kids in to learn, without grades or credit, after school just for the fun of it. With this and the other resources I will be making you will also be able to teach students to read and write Korean.
This resource is contains all the consonant and vowel combinations in the Korean Language. It provides English pronunciation guides for each syllable, so that students can teach themselves as they practice. Each section contains a guide to understanding the letters and how they interact. I have used many different books and websites in the past, but I found that each was lacking. I believe that this product solves all the problems I have encountered and brings the best of all that I have learned.
