What educators are saying

I love this resource. My students were teasing each other a lot, which lead to lots of hurt feelings. This was great to use to talk through mean/nice teases and how those teases make each other feel.
I used this with my 4th graders, but plan to use it with my upcoming 1st graders. I love this and it goes so well with the story!!

There is a difference between teasing that is meant to hurt feelings and teasing that is meant to be playful and fun. Teach about teasing and help students to differentiate between situations where teasing is meant in good fun, and where the teasing crosses the line and becomes hurtful, or even bullying, with these fun tease monster activities!

This fun bullying vs. teasing activity helps students to understand that not everyone reacts or feels the same way in each situation. Scenarios that would not hurt one person’s feelings, may hurt a classmate deeply. It is important for students to realize the impact their actions and words can have on others.
