The Popcorn Sight Word ring is what I use to build a home-school connection with sight words. We call them POPCORN words because students should be able to say these words quick, like popcorn popping!
I made a teacher edition, to use during Guided Reading Groups, or when we are together at the carpet, or any other free moment we may have. (Letter identification/letter sound practice included.)
The student version has the words colored, and I ran them off on white paper. The teacher version I changed the font color to black and then ran them off on colored paper, according to the list.
Red list: I, see, a, the, like
Orange: my, it, is, can, and
Yellow: me, you, look, yes, no
Green: he, she, go, play, are
Blue: to, put, get, have, said
Purple: we, for, has, here, some
Pink: in, do, had, with, come
Brown: on, up, this, what, want
