30 labs for $35!!! Significantly cheaper than purchasing the lab activities one at a time!
As a beginning teacher I struggled with providing lab experiences for my students due to a number of reasons. Most labs involved expensive technology that my school did not have, labs utilized expensive equipment that took time to obtain and usually had to be purchased using money from my own pocket, labs took more time to run than one or two class periods and lost student interest, labs involved multiple sheets of paper that took forever to photocopy and then staple together, labs were extremely time consuming to setup, and these labs took a significant amount of time to grade for accuracy. These labs have been edited and “repackaged” to eliminate each of these problems.
How to Use this Book
Teacher Notes: To be used by teacher and student helper to set up lab.
Student Lab Sheet: Ready to photocopy and pass out to students.
Grading Spreadsheet: To be used by teacher or student helper to grade labs for accuracy in a timely manner (SEPARATE PURCHASE). This allows each lab group to generate their own individual data and still be held responsible for the accuracy of their answers.
Student Spreadsheet: To be used by students to digitally hand in their data. This allows teachers to simply copy/paste student data rather than typing individual data into the grading spreadsheet. (SEPARATE PURCHASE).
Student Lab “Dummy Data”: Ready to photocopy and pass out to students who missed a lab activity. This provides the student with information to complete the lab activity without actually doing the lab. Students are then still responsible for the lab information without the teacher having to setup and supervise labs outside of school time.
“Dummy Data” Answer Key: Allows you to quickly and accurately grade any “Dummy Data” labs and get them returned to the student quickly and give immediate feedback.
**NOTE: Student and Grading Spreadsheets are available for separate purchase/download**
