This planner is designed for you to personalize it as much as you want. I have given you several choices for title pages and left a blank calendar template, etc so that you can make it your own! For instance, I know that not everyone will want “testing information” in their planner, but I like to have my information all in one place as I sit down to write my lesson plans for the week. If you don’t want it, I’ve made it easy to just leave out (by not printing that page). The back cover page has two options as well, one with my favorite scripture, and one without so you can choose. Put these pages in whatever order makes sense to you and add whatever additional information you want in your book. You will have to make several copies of the pages such as the grade book pages, the class rosters, the parent contact information, etc. to fit your classroom needs. Also, the lesson plans, calendar, and grade book are double page spreads so that when you are looking at them together, they make a whole. (does that make sense?)
I printed all of my pages out at home in color, front and back. I then took my book to the office store and had them do a harder laminate (about $2.. per page) on the front and back covers. I also put my “To-Do List” at the front and had them do a thinner laminate on it so that I can use a dry erase (or wet erase) expo marker on it each week. Finally, they bound it all together for me (about $4). I absolutely LOVE the way it turned out! I know that you will too!
If you have any questions please feel free to send me an email! I hope this makes the idea of headin’ back to school more enjoyable for ya! I know that it did the trick for me!
