Do you keep a personal planner AND a school planner? I used to until I combined the two into one effective planner.
Included in this document:
*Calendar July 2017- July 2018
*Goals for the year planning page/vision board
*Weekend Planner (includes menu planner for the week and activities section)
* Week at a Glance:
- daily time slots to schedule events.
- food tracker
- reading tracker
-goal section for the week: physical, emotional, mental, spiritual
-Bible verse to memorize
- Red M&M section (a place to plan acts of kindness)
*Monthly Student Goal Tracker (tracks 3 goals per kid. I track one math, one reading and one personal goal that they choose)
*Student information page: includes: birthday, allergies, contact info., tier, interventions, other
*Meeting Notes pages (14 pages to keep track of notes and follow up steps)
*A separate Calendar August-June 7 to draft out scope and sequence and lesson plans (only has Mon-Fri)
*Web Login Manager to remember websites, logins and passwords
*Project Planning pages for 5 projects. I use these to plan big events: Talent Show, Fall Festival, Field Trips, etc.
*Newly added: 4 pages to record prayer request or praise reports
You get all of this. I will warn you...the format is pretty simple but it is super effective. I wish I could make it all "cutesy" but the truth is, IT WORKS! I used to be a huge Franklin Covey Planner girl. This follows some of the same concepts with:
Dream the dream (Begin with the end on mind)- What do you want your school year to look like at school and at home???
After you decide on that- break the goals into bite size, weekly and daily goals.
I have spent years perfecting what parts of this planner I actually use, and eliminating the parts that are good in theory but not practical. If you are a paper planner person, this may be just the planner you were looking for to combine your personal and professional life.
*** All money made on this project will go to sending my students to camp. Each year I bring my Title I students to camp (www.kaakamps.org) over the summer. This is such a unique yet expensive opportunity. I hope you buy and LOVE this planner!
