In efforts to have a high-functioning classroom, I have created an all-in-one teacher binder to avoid having a cluttered desk. I am in love with this binder and it has become the envy of my coworkers because when I come to meetings I look very organized (haha!).
View Binder and page/sheet protectors
Print out and place the cover page in the front view.
Place the remaining pages in sheet protectors to serve as dividers, or print on card stock.
**If your binder gets too full, you could always create more than 1 binder, then you'll have a matching mini-set of binders!**
In this set I have included several sections:
-Calendar (Insert your own calendar, or your district calendar)
-Team Meetings (for those who co-teach or have common planning time)
-Grade Level Meetings
-Co-teaching meetings (for those who co-teach with intervention specialists)
-Parent Communication (Communication Logs, Contact Info., etc.)
-Parent Teacher Conferences (To hold your sign up sheet, schedule, reminder slips, notes, etc.)
-Volunteer Information (Room Parent Sign Up Sheets, Contact List, etc.)
-Sub Plans (You could take this cover page and turn it into it's own binder)
-Common Core (Standards, Checklists, etc.)
-Student Transportation (includes a form)
- Field Trips
-Emergency Forms (You could use this several ways, one is to keep all your students emergency medical forms and allergies list, another is to keep all the extra emergency drill forms you have store here-or both!)
-Book Orders (I have letters to parents that has the Scholastic class code that I keep in this section)
-Important E-Mails (Some e-mails just have to be printed, but I always lost them until I started sticking them in this section)
-Notes (I use this section to keep a running to-do list, ideas for next year, etc.)
-Blank forms for you to customize as needed
