This year I want to keep track of all of my per session money, but calculating how many hours I worked is a pain!
1) I created an Excel spreadsheet that calculates my hours and multiplies it by the New York City per session rate.
2) I created a short little two page handout with instructions that you can use if you are not comfortable with Excel.
If your pay rate for per session is not the same as it is in New York City, then I include a short section on the handout on how to change it.
I also included a section on how to create a formula to total up the per session pay for a range of dates.
This way I can keep track of how many hours I worked and have a ballpark idea of how much I should be expecting in my paycheck.
