Product Description
A couple of years ago I realised I needed to leave the teaching profession, if not only for a break but even permanently. I had no idea where to start amongst the chaos of every day that teaching is – I would arrive home tired and feel like all I could do was prepare for the next day again. I had no idea where to start with future plans. Over this two year period, I did a lot of journaling, and also worked with a life coach, as well as retraining as a professional coach myself (Dip. Prof. Coaching). I knew in my heart my teaching career at that point was not using my unique skills and talents and it definitely wasn't going in the direction it needed to - I needed to TAKE THE REINS! I chose 100% Personal Responsibility. I came to realise that following your passion and interests will bring the most satisfaction and work-life balance you can imagine. I also realised what seems easy to us, is not always the case for others - make sure you know your unique skills and talents.

One question that kept coming to my mind was …”who is looking after the teachers?” I now seek to empower teachers to take charge of their career choices for a satisfying work-life balance.

It’s so important to take stock of your career and make active choices about whether to stay, go, or as I like to call it ‘reboot’ or ’redirect’.

I hope this guide will be useful for you as you begin this first stage of reflecting on your career and what you want in the future.
