Every year on one of the first couple days of school I tell the students to get out a piece of paper, they have a test. They start to panic a little (I don't tell them the day before they are having a test). I tell them to number from 1-15. And I always say, "I hope you studied!"
I ask them 15 questions about me. Of course, they are not going to know the answer to most, if not all of these, but it's fun to see what they think of me in just the few days we've known each other.
The questions are about my name, where I'm from, what my husband does for work, etc. It's fun toy hear their guesses afterwards. This year I had one student who was convinced my husband was a rapper. He's not - he's a high school math teacher.
This is a power point that can be modified to fit you! Although these are questions I've used for the past 6 years, and have worked for me.
This activity gives you an opportunity for the kids to get to know a little bit about you.
