I created this video for a class last semester based on the observations of many. many teachers at my school handwriting or typing each student's name on letters, labels, and classroom "signs." Personalizing your labels and letters is just a few clicks away if you know how to use Mail Merge. Because time is always in such high demand, you'll be relieved to see how quick and easy it is to get personalized documents. You can then use the time you would have spent writing or typing names on something more productive...like rest! (Or grading piles of papers!) : )
While the steps are not difficult, it takes some practice getting used to making mail merge files when you are just beginning. I used to provide instructions in MS Word, but for some learners it is really important to actually "see" each step. This 6 minute video will walk you through the steps one piece at a time. If you need to revisit a step, you can pause or rewind the video using the toolbar on the left of the screen.
I spent a lot of hours on this video, but I am uploading it as a freebie because I truly feel that teachers deserve any bit of time-saving help possible! I hope you enjoy your tutorial. In return, if you wouldn't mind leaving feedback or ratings, I would very much appreciate it! (I'm a "newbie!")
Happy Mail Merging!
