Interactive Notebooks have become the “thing” lately. And even in my kindergarten classroom we work in them.
But one thing that I have noticed is that no matter how good the set of interactive notebook sight words I found- there was always at least one word I needed that was missing. Or I had to search through endless pages to find them.
Mixing and matching sets helped– some– but I wanted the kids to get into the routine of using the Interactive notebook, without having to teach them a brand new set of directions for a different Interactive Notebook. Not to mention that I needed it easy enough for a Kindergartner to use.
Wouldn’t it be great if I could work on the words I needed without endless searching. So I created this editable notebook. So even when your district changes its list, you’re covered. Even if you change grade levels, you’re covered. Plus- because it is editable you can differentiate words, or difficulty levels to meet the needs of your students.
The pages in this interactive notebook can handle words up to 7 letters with no problems. If you have longer words- the puzzles will not be usable (since they only go up that far) but the rest will.
