It is aligned to the second grade CCSS for reading and the standards addressed by each activity are noted on the bottom or top of each page. These are meant to be supplemental activities for the unit. I have included several variations of many of the pages, so you can pick and choose what works for you and your class. For example on the task cards I provided both color and black and white. On some activities you can choose between charts, lined paper, flip books and more. I wanted everything to meet your needs as much as possible. Some activities can also be used in interactive notebooks, but if you do not use them, they can still be used. Simply have students cut and glue these onto blank or lined paper and you're good to go!
