Teaching Adjectives with SHOW & TELL activity

Product Description
This video will explain how to teach adjectives using a show & tell activity. It's the lesson I use as a HOOK to get my students engaged. This activity is ideal for K-3 students.

Here's the gist: Students choose an object that can be brought to school that fits in a small brown paper lunch bag. Parents will help students make a list of adjectives that describe the object in the bag. The next day at school, students will read the adjective clues aloud, and the class will try and guess what is in the bag!

This activity establishes a home-school connection. Parents are asked to get involved with this simple homework assignment, and students will be so excited about adjectives! Adjective Surprise incorporates the excitement of “show and tell” with the standards students need to learn. Learn more about the adjective activity by watching this video.
