Figurative language can be so fun to teach and alliteration is no exception. I've created this little pack as a way for kids to practice creating their own alliterations and also identifying alliterations within sentences. This unit is best suited for grades 2-5, but could be adapted for 1st grade whole group lessons. Here's what you'll get:
-1 set of alliteration task cards (colored or a B/W version that you can print on colored copy paper to save on ink!)
-Recording sheet for the task card activity
- Multiple versions of two activities that allow students to create their own alliteration
- Reproducible practice sheets
