Product Description
This bundle includes the activity, the activity sign and all K-5 Vocabulary Matching cards for this game. VERSION #2 is a new, revised edition of this activity. This version uses math concepts directly linked to the math curriculum that students are using in their classrooms (math problems such as A = (20 - B) are used according to grade level student math workbooks. Use your own math problems that are appropriate for your students. For example, Kindergarten and First Grade students add the dice or count the dots, and 4th grade students do the math problem listed above. The sequencing of the activity is also different. The Odd/Even Exercise List also found in the Skeletal System section is used for this activity. This Physical Education and Health activity can be used in the P.E. setting as well as in the Health setting. It has been used with students at the Kindergarten through Fifth Grade level and can easily be modified for older students. Students work on locomotor movements, fitness, and/or manipulative skills along with learning vocabulary of the Skeletal System. Dice Fitness with Skeletal Matching also works on team building, communication skills, language arts concepts and math concepts. Students can learn as few as 6 vocabulary words and definitions and as many as 18 vocabulary matches using this activity in coordination with my Skeletal System Matching Cards that can be found in the Skeletal System category. This activity was created by Heather Isler.
