Teaching Children a Strategy to Recognize Numbers 0-10
The activities in this packet were designed to teach children a strategy that they can use independently to identify numbers. This can be used in a small group or one-on-one setting to teach children their numbers. This can also be used as an intervention strategy for children who are struggling to identify numbers. Once they learn the strategy, they can use it independently at their seats or in centers when trying to recognize numbers. Children love this activity!
This can even be used as a center activity or as a cooperative learning activity. Instructions are included for a Kagan cooperative learning activity. There is a parent letter with fun materials that you can send home. It is all ready to go, so you can easy provide parents with materials and instructions to help their child.
The packet includes the following:
-Math Work Mat
-Number Cards (number symbol and model)
-Number Cards (number)
-Parent Letter and Materials to Send Home
-Cooperative Learning Activity
NOTE: This is also included in my “Numbers, Counting, Five Frames, and More” bundle. If you already have the complete bundle, please do not purchase this item. Thanks! Grace McDougall
