Teaching Coin Money Value with Hundreds Charts- Smart Board Component

Teaching Coin Money Value with Hundreds Charts- Smart Board Component
Product Description
I have found using a hundreds chart to teach coins seems to be the most successful way to help the children retain the monetary values in an active way. I use this method for the first five lessons when I introduce money.

This item is a free interactive Smart Board version of the activity worksheets I created (worksheets for purchase in another listing). You can drag the coins on top of the hundreds chart to demonstrate their values.

Additional Item for Purchase: Includes four separate hundreds charts, each designed for a specific coin (penny, nickel, dime, quarter). Students will use a crayon to do a real "coin rub" of the front and back of each coin in the space provided on the worksheets. They will then cut out the appropriate coins (print out included) and paste them onto the correct space on each hundred chart. For example, on the "quarter chart" you would paste four quarters (one on 25, one on 50, one on 75, one on 100).
