Description

This “Teaching Tandem” helps teachers teach the very difficult concept of incorporating dialogue into their writing. The first resource is meant to show the importance of dialogue in both reading and writing--and gives students exposure to how and why it is written. The activity included is hands on, low prep, and ready to use!

The second resource focuses more on a way to engage my students in how to read and write dialogue and to see the power characters’ words can have. I wanted them to be able to get practice with punctuating and writing dialogue WITHOUT using boring practice sheets—and with doing “real writing”. My students LOVE these task cards and the creativity they brought out.

The two included resources are:

Teaching the Power of Dialogue Creativity Task Cards

Introducing Dialogue

TEACHING TANDEMS!

I have had SO many requests for resources to be bundled together to help teachers save money--and I do have many bundles in my store. Sometimes, however, there are two resources that are such perfect complements to each other, that many teachers end up buying both of them separately. After much thought--"Teaching Tandems" were born! Each one consists of two related products that, together, help make your teaching more complete--and now they can be purchased at a discounted price when you buy them together.

PLEASE make sure that you don't already own one of the two resources before purchasing!

Downloading the preview will give you the preview of each of the two resources so you can see what you get--as well as a brief document explaining why I paired the two together.
