Project Description: This project is a summative assessment for a unit on stage picture and stage movement for students in an introductory drama class. It teaches students the skill of creating a story from movement. It’s appropriate for students in grades 9-12, but could be adjusted for middle school students.
Standards: This project meets California state theatre standards for Creative Expression, Artistic Perception, and Aesthetic Valuing. By choosing a specific piece of music for tie in, you could make it fit Historical and Cultural Connections as well.
