Product Description
This Physical Education and Health activity can be used in the P.E. setting as well as in the Health setting. It has been used with students at the Second through Fifth Grade level and can easily be modified for older students. Students work on locomotor movements and fitness activities along with learning important vocabulary words and definitions for the Muscular System. The 4th and 5th grade set of Muscle Matching Cards also includes FITNESSGRAM concepts. Muscle Memory also works on team building, communication skills and language arts concepts. Students can learn as few as 5 and as many as 9 vocabulary words and definitions using this activity in coordination with my Muscle Matching Cards that can be found in the Muscular System category. An example of a matching is "Type of muscle that works on it's own = Involuntary." This activity was created by Heather Isler.
