Product Description
When teaching place value concepts to students do you need hands-on materials for you and your students? This resource offers printable pictures on expanded notation, number word form, standard form, ±1, ±10, ±100, and inequalities in the form of place value blocks, number cards, gameboards, worksheets and journal pieces. The pieces can be used to assist your teaching of your curriculum’s lessons in small or large group and can later be placed in centers. There are numerous suggestions but this resource is not a prescribed curriculum. The numbers begin with two-digits and scaffold to four-digits, spanning the needs of most first through second graders and even into third grade for review or RTI needs. Students with Autism and developmental disabilities can use this resource as well; and they are perfect for the homeschooler who doesn’t have the 3D blocks.
You’ll get:

Pictured block cards for 1,000s, 100s, 10s, and 1s along with inequality and equal symbols
4 pages of pictured numbers and multiple ways to label for use in pocket charts or journals
3 pages of folding flap pieces to show a number multiple ways
2 pages of ±1, ±10, ±100
3 gameboards of 5 in a Row for +1, +10, and +100 along with a die template
6 follow-up worksheets to use at various times within your teaching
