How they work:
Print out a set for each student on card stock and punch a hole in the bottom left corner.
As you teach the teaching point through the mini-lesson, students add the card to a ring that they keep at their desk.
During independent work time, students choose one card or teaching point to focus on for the day. As you walk around the room, you will know immediately what each student's goal is.
Each teaching point is aligned to a 3rd grade CCSS, as indicated on each card.
