Teaching Primary and Secondary Sources: Upper Elementary and Middle Grades
This resources activity comes with an EDITABLE ASSESSMENT!!!!!
This lesson teaches students what primary and secondary sources are, provides examples, and discusses how to make judgments about sources. The activity does a great job in getting students to reflect upon their own personal lives, consider the way they live today, and the artifacts that they might leave behind for others to learn about themselves. In addition to making sources relevant to students, a primary/secondary graphic organizer and key, a foldable and key, a primary/secondary worksheet, 18 primary and secondary picture sorts, 40 task cards and an EDITABLE assessment are included.
