PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

This lesson plan is the fifth in a series of ninety-six Speaking and Listening lessons designed to teach lower-grade-level students (kindergarten and above) all about Public Speaking. Lesson Five focuses on managing anxiety (keeping fear under control) by viewing oral presentations as an “opportunity” rather than an assignment—emphasizing what speakers or presenters can do to have fun as opposed to concentrating on trying not to make a mistake or on what others might say or think, especially in terms of being creative vocally and/or with gestures.
