PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

There are 20 spelling cards for 10 different food items. Each food item comes with a card with prompts and one without prompts. The foods included are cherry, apple, banana, water, pizza, bacon, toast, cheese, carrot, and grape.

Each word card comes with a simple picture of the item at the food top. Below the pictures are individual boxes for each letter in the word. The word card with the prompt has a small letter written in each box, so the student can match letter to letter to correctly spell each word. The word card without the prompt has empty boxes. Each page also has letter cards that can be cut out and used to spell the word.

I have laminated each card. Student who have good fine motor skills use a dry erase marker to spell the words. Those without good fine motor skills, velcro the letter cards to the spelling card.

I have used these cards to take spelling tests, as independent work, and as a teaching tool.
