Teaching the Communication Process Using Beanbags, Balls, and T-Charts
Product Description
I teach the communication process using a combination of bean bags, balls, and t-charts. First, I have the students play keep away using bean bags and balls. It works really well and the entire class is engaged. In my handouts, I have provided you with a complete expanation of how you teach the communication process using nerf balls--a football, baseball, basketball, soccer ball, and two bean bags. I also explain what each ball, bean bag, and person represents in the simulation. The students love this exercise and they remember the communication process.

After doing the simulation with my students, my students come in and use the t-chart to fill in their notes. We also draw the traditional communication process diagram on the back of the notes.

I found the nerf balls at my local Dollar Tree and Dollar General stores.
