This Physical Education and Health activity can be used in the P.E. setting as well as in the Health setting. It has been used with students at the Fourth and Fifth grade level and can easily be modified for older students. Students will practice math skills such as number recognition as well as learning important Nervous System concepts such as the brain, spinal cord, nerves and sensory neurons. They will also participate in 9 different fitness activities focusing on 3 different areas of the body (arms, core and legs). Nervous System Sensory Scramble also works on team building and communication skills. This activity was created by Heather Isler.
