This is one of a series of files that will help teach fundamental reading strategies using short films. This file includes a two page worksheet that goes with the Anne Hathaway and Meryl Streep film, "The Devil Wears Prada." Skills that will be covered include: inferencing, summarization, characterization, juxtaposition, and foil. Scenes can be viewed from youtube clips, itunes, or your own copy of the film. Two sequences are highlighted: the opening and the scene "I see, you think this has nothing to do with you." The combined running time of the two scenes is less than 15 minutes, perfect for a one day lesson.
