Teachers often put students in teams but neglect to give them the tools to manage their teams productively.
Team Agreements are ground rules the teams set for themselves. This is a short exercise that students can do at the beginning of a team project. Then during the project, they can refer back to or add to the agreements. At the end of the project, they can use the Team Agreements to assess how well they worked together.
Use this powerpoint file explain what team agreements are and how to create them.
