Teams form when you need ideas for a new product or project; you need to figure out why an existing product or project is failing; or you need to complete a specific project by a specific date. Interdisciplinary teams coordinate their efforts to provide a client's total care plan. Individuals join together to reach a goal by cooperation and division of tasks among themselves. The team may consist of people with different levels of education, ideas, backgrounds, and interests. Leadership is the ability to encourage people to work together to do their best to achieve common goals.
