What educators are saying

I love these one pagers and found the Ted-Talk one useful for creating an alternative way for students to respond.
I use TED Talks frequently with my students, so having different tools for them to use as they watch and listen has helped change things up and keep it fresh.

Description

Ted Talks are an amazing resource for the classroom, but it can be tricky to keep students focused throughout a talk. Having a creative activity to complete as they watch can help so much.

This guided Ted Talk one-pager asks students to pull key information as they listen, curating, responding, and highlighting meaning as they absorb the Ted Talk.

From the reviews:

"Quick and easy. Great for "Lame Duck" days!"

"I do TED Fridays and this will make engagement skyrocket!"

"I love all Betsy's one pager templates. They are super versatile and can be used in many ways. I especially like these designed for Ted Talks. There are a great way to get students connecting to the material rather than just answering video questions."

The templates help all students have a clear path toward success, even the art-haters. They contain clear instructions for what goes where, taking the intimidation out of the process.

Here's what's inside:

  • Two templates with complete instructions
  • Clear rubric to make grading quick and objective

*Updated for Distance Learning: The zip file now includes a link to a Google Drive version of this product with editable instructions. Your students can complete their work online or easily print from home through Google Drive. I hope this is helpful!

Please consider leaving a review. It'll earn you credit towards future purchases, help other teachers know if it's the right activity for their students, and help me in my work too. Thank you!
