Fun, engaging, interactive and GIANT game.

HOW TO PLAY:

Print dice pieces out on paper, I use color cardstock to brighten them up and to make sure they would hold up. You can decide how many domino pieces you want students to use, all of them or split up and have students work in groups. Students will connect the pieces just like they would with dominos. They will match a teen number with a tens frame that has the same amount of dots. They can connect them vertically or horizontally. Includes two different sizes for the pieces and 50 dominos. Perfect for the middle of the year after you’ve taught all the teen numbers. Use as a math center to help with number recognition.

Count to answer “how many?” questions about as many as 20 things arranged in a line, a rectangular array, or a circle, or as many as 10 things in a scattered configuration; given a number from 1-20, count out that many objects.
When counting objects, say the number names in the standard order, pairing each object with one and only one number name and each number name with one and only one object.
Understand the relationship between numbers and quantities; connect counting to cardinality.
Write numbers from 0 to 20. Represent a number of objects with a written numeral 0-20 (with 0 representing a count of no objects).
Count forward beginning from a given number within the known sequence (instead of having to begin at 1).
