This dental health and teeth research journal is designed to bring research and writing into your dental health lessons. This research project is designed to be used in a variety of ways and ages. For younger grades, the research is completed whole group with read alouds and videos. Learning is recorded on class charts and students record the learning in their research journals. For older grades, students research and record their learning in the journals independently. They can share their learning and it can be recorded on class charts.
You can use the pages independently or you can turn them into a research journal for students. Students will be learning about teeth, dentists, dental health, and more. Students will be completing graphic organizers and writing about teeth. Students will be determining true and false statements and labeling pictures. Also included is vocabulary, graphing and data analysis and how to writing.
