PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

This debate stems from the 1843 classic short story by Edgar Allan Poe, "The Tell-Tale Heart". It is designed for students to be using text evidence to determine if the narrator was insane or sane, depending on which side they are supporting. The first page for the team gives text evidence examples but the second page they have to find their own. After finding examples, students write a summary based on what they found and what inferences they made. At the end of the debate, there are reflection questions to use for a class discussion. Found at Literacy Lunatic.
